PHILADELPHIA - La Salle Men's Soccer alum Jason Plumhoff '13 was recently signed to Indy Eleven of the North American Soccer League (NASL).
Since graduating from La Salle, Plumhoff has appeared on multiple professional teams. In 2015, the midfielder signed with the Harrisburg City Islanders and led the team in scoring with 10 goals in 22 games. The following year, he signed with FC Edmonton of the NASL where he scored one goal in six appearances before being traded to Jacksonville Armada FC.
According to the NASL website, Indy head coach Tim Hankinson told reporters "What we saw in Jason [Plumhoff] was a player that can play on both the right and the left side of midfield. He's very good at running at players and getting behind the defense, and he has good quality in his crosses. We think that will bring back a dimension that we've been missing with the style that we play."
The Ellicott City, Maryland, native graduated second in program history in assists (26), fourth in points (80), seventh in goals (27), and tied for fifth in games played (75).
