Men's Basketball
Junior men's basketball player Ramon Galloway has been named the GoExplorers.com Student-Athlete of the Month.
Galloway averaged 17.0 ppg. and 4.9 rpg. in a 6-1 month for the Explorers, including setting a career-high of 26 vs. Army. He shot .494 from the field and .533 from three-point range, connecting on nearly four three-pointers per game.
He also averaged 2.0 steals per game.

Field Hockey GPA
La Salle Field Hockey had the top GPA nationally in 2004 and 2008 and second-best in 2003 and 2009.
Field Hockey National Champions
The 1980 Women's Field Hockey team won the National Championship.
John Uelses
John Uelses '65 became the first person ever to clear 16 feet in the pole vault indoors and outdoors. He remains La Salle's only NCAA track champion (1964).
Al Cantello
Al Cantello '55 held the world record for javelin and was a 1960 Olympian.
Colasante
Cesidio Colasante '98 is the only player ever to win the Philadelphia Soccer Seven Player of the Year honor three times.
Commissioner's Honor Roll
La Salle has the most student-athletes on the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll for the fourth straight semester.
Fall 2011a
La Salle sent three teams to the A-10 Tournament in the fall of 2011 (men's and women's soccer, field hockey), the most of any conference school.
