EASTON, Pa. – The Men's Soccer team (5-3) was edged on the road by a talented Lafayette team Tuesday night.
The Explorers struck first in the match, breaking the scoreless tie in the 37th minute on a goal from Colman Kennedy (assisted by Tony Daniele). The goal was Kennedy's second on the season. However, the home team countered with the equalizer in the second half and then scored the game-winner late in the frame.
Cameron Keys drew his first start of the season as La Salle's goalkeeper. Keys made three saves in the match.
Head Coach Rob Irvine's team returns home to play this weekend when the Explorers will play their final non-conference game before the start of Atlantic 10 conference play. The Explorers are set to host UMBC at 7:00 at McCarthy Stadium.
