PHILADELPHIA - The 2016 Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Tournament bracket was announced on Sunday, and the La Salle men's soccer team earned the third seed for the upcoming single-elimination event, set to begin on Thursday, Nov. 10 in Davidson, N.C. The Explorers, who closed the regular season on a five-match unbeaten streak, will face No. 6 Rhode Island in the opening round. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
La Salle will be making its first appearance at the conference championship since the 2013 season after closing league play with a 5-3 record. The Explorers clinched a berth with a thrilling 3-2 win over Big 5 rival Saint Joseph's on Oct. 29, then picked up a 1-0 shutout of Massachusetts this past Saturday to claim the third seed.

Matt Robinson leads the team offensively with five goals and six assists, and ranks seventh in the A10 with 16 points. Senior

Mike Kirk has a team-high 13 starts in goal and maintains a 1.12 goals-against average.
