Mid-Atlantic Regional Poll
PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle women's soccer team has been ranked first in the NSCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Poll, it was announced today. The Explorers (2-0) defeated Old Dominion, 1-0, and James Madison, 2-1, to win the JMU Invitational over the weekend.

Kelsey Haycook was named the A-10 Player of the Week after scoring two goals and assisting on a third to earn JMU All-Tournament team honors.Â
Last season, La Salle spent six weeks ranked on top of the NSCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Poll. The Explorers are 34-7-4 since the beginning of the 2011 season.
The Explorers may face their toughest test of the season on Sunday when they travel to #9 Penn State, which was the NCAA runner-up last season. Look for a full preview of that game later in the week.
