GREENSBORO, N.C. - Meghan McGlinchey wrapped up her season at NCAA Preliminaries on Thursday night, posting a time of 35:16.88 in the 10,000m run. McGlinchey crossed the finish line 25th (47-runner field) in the race. Katie Kellner of Cornell took home the top prize with a 33:17.39, followed by Florida State's Kayleigh Tymerman (33:20.74) and Boston's Katie Matthews (33:27.28).
The West Deptford native completed a sensational season, one which saw McGlinchey break the 5,000m school record at the ECAC Championships (5/10) with a 16:15.52. During the indoor season, the West Deptford product took home a gold medal in the 5,000m run at the Atlantic 10 Indoor Championships as well. McGlinchey also qualified for the NCAA Championships in cross country after placing second at the A-10 Championships in the fall.
