PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle women's tennis team dropped a tough match against the Rhode Island Rams, 7-0.
 
The Explorers struggled against the Atlantic 10 Conference foe Rams, as they did not earn one point. La Salle looked for junior Caitlin Coelho to continue her winning ways, as she was coming in off of a winning streak.
 
The junior couldn't find her way, as she dropped both sets, 6-0.
 
In the doubles, the Explorers won two games from the pair Elli Vamvakitis and Chloe Trave. The pair could not hold on as they dropped the match 8-2.
 
La Salle drops to 2-11 on the season. The Explorers will be on the court for their last match of the season as they travel to Rider on Tuesday.
 
The Explorers will than compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference Championships April 18-20 in Charlottesville, VA.
