PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle women's tennis team dropped the alumni day match against St. Francis, 9-0.
 
The Explorers struggled against the Red Flash with sophomore Celesta Smith winning a set, but dropping the tiebreaker.
 
Smith won her first set against her opponent in a tiebreaker, 7-4.
 
The Explorers struggled to get anything going in any of the other games, as they dropped the next five singles matches.
 
As the Explorers prepared for the doubles matches, the luck did not show up as they dropped all three matches.
 
Smith and Caitlin Coelho battled out against Panizza and Patel. The Explorers lost the set 8-6.
 
The Explorers will return to the court on Tuesday on the road against Drexel. The Dragons will host La Salle at 3 pm, in a city rival match-up.
