2012-13 Schedule
PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle men's basketball team, which is coming off a 21-win season and NIT appearance, will begin its 2012-13 campaign by hosting Delaware on November 10 as a part of the University's homecoming celebration. The Atlantic 10 portion of the schedule will be announced at a later date.
“Our non-conference schedule includes many teams who will do very well in their conferences and have successful seasons,” head coach
Dr. John Giannini said. “These games will challenge us and provide us with a solid strength of schedule before entering an A-10 slate that is more challenging than ever.
“We are always excited about our Big 5 games,” Giannini continued. “We are also excited about beginning new series with Penn State and Miami.”
The Delaware opener is fitting during the University's 150

Big 5 rival Villanova travels to Gola Arena on November 25 before the Explorers make a short trip to Rider on November 29.
Another historical tie-in is a December 5 match-up with Penn State at the Palestra. The Explorers defeated PSU in the 1954 Final Four to meet Bradley in the championship game and win the national championship.
Next up are road trips to Northeastern (December 8) and Bucknell, which won 25 games and advanced to the NIT Second Round, on December 15. The month will conclude by hosting NCAA qualifier Iona (December 20) and Sacred Heart (December 22) before traveling to Siena on December 29.
In the new year, La Salle will visit NIT qualifier Miami, who won 21 games last season, on January 2 before hosting Big 5 rival Penn (20-13, CBI) on January 5 at Gola Arena.
In the Atlantic 10, the Explorers will play a home and home series with George Washington and will host Butler, Dayton, Duquesne, Fordham, Massachusetts, Richmond and Saint Joseph's.
Road A-10 games include Charlotte, Rhode Island, St. Bonaventure, Saint Louis, Temple, VCU and Xavier.

Ramon Galloway, NABC All-District pick
Tyreek Duren, Atlantic 10 All-Rookie selection
Jerrell Wright and double-figure scorer
Sam Mills.
The Explorers will add Virginia Tech transfer
