PHILADELPHIA – La Salle's Brianne Brown has resigned her position as head softball coach to pursue other professional opportunities, it was announced today.
 
“I am truly appreciative of the opportunity that La Salle University gave me to live out my dream as a college coach,” Brown said. “It has been a pleasure to watch the student-athletes succeed on the field and in the classroom. I wish them the very best of luck in their future endeavors.” 
 
“We are thankful for Brianne's hard work and dedication to our student-athletes over the past four years,” Director of Athletics Dr. Tom Brennan said. “Brianne is a talented young professional and I'm sure she will be successful in her future pursuits. We wish her nothing but the best.”
 
A search for her successor will begin immediately.
