New York, NY- The distance medley relay team of
Paul Reilly,
Wayne Bartholomew,
Terence McPeak, and
Nick Crits finished in third place at the Millrose Games on Saturday.
The Explorers outkicked the University of Albany for third place. Coming in before La Salle was Villanova (first) and Dublin City University (second).
Reilly started the race with the 1200 meter leg of the race. He handed the baton off to Batholomew (400 meter), who gradually moved up in positioning. McPeak kept the Explorers in the race with a strong 800 meter race.
Crits anchored La Salle with a 1600 meter leg and crossed the finish line with a time of 9:48.52.
Reilly, Bartholomew, McPeak, Crits and the rest of the Explorers will look to prepare for the Atlantic 10 Championships in Kingston, R.I. on Friday and Saturday.
