Princeton's game-winning goal came off the foot of Jen Hoy and was the 17
th of the season for the senior who ranks second nationally in goals per game as of October 21.
While the loss snaps the Explorers' 9 game winning streak and 16 game unbeaten streak at McCarthy Stadium, the squad's 16 consecutive regular season Atlantic 10 Conference unbeaten record remains intact.
The Explorers (13-4-0/7-0-0) remain atop the Atlantic 10 conference with a perfect 7-0-0 record and 21 points. La Salle returns to action on Friday at cross-town rival Saint Joseph's at 7 p.m.
