GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – The La Salle women's tennis team finished their fall season with a loss at Gwynedd-Mercy College, 5-4.
 
The Explorers closed out their fall campaign with a 2-3 record. La Salle defeated Millersville University and the University of the Sciences in their team victories over the fall season.
 
The Explorers were led by junior Chloe Trave, who finished with two victories in the match. The junior won her singles match two sets to none.
 
Trave also paired up with senior Elli Vamvakitis to defeat their opponent 8-6. They earned the one of the two doubles victories against the Griffins. The other victory, 8-6, came from the team of Celesta Smith and Caitlin Coelho.
 
La Salle also received a singles victory from senior Allison Amrein. The senior won her match in two sets, 6-0, 6-1.
 
The La Salle women's tennis team will take the court for the spring season on March 16th in Baltimore, MD against the Loyola Greyhounds.
