PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced a partnership with the Salem Communications Corporation to broadcast men's basketball games on WNTP 990 AM or WFIL 560 AM during the 2011-12 season. Men's basketball games, as well as home women's basketball games, will also be streamed online at GoExplorers.com.  
 
Most games will air on 990 AM with a select number of weekend contests moving to 560 AM. A limited number of games will be broadcast on the internet-only.
 
Kale Beers will return for his 16^th season as the play-by-play broadcaster and Steve Degler will return for his 15^th season as the color analyst. The internet-only pre-game show begins approximately 15 minutes before every men's basketball game.
 
The La Salle men's basketball team will open its season on Friday, November 11 versus Lafayette at 7 PM.
