PHILADELPHIA, PA -The leaves are beginning to fall, but the La Salle University Explorers continue to climb the charts this week as both the men's and women's teams have taken the #7 position in the Mid-Atlantic Region `s United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) poll for the second consecutive week. The Explorers continue to be the top-ranked team in the A-10 in the Mid-Atlantic region.

With just two weeks to go until the A-10 Championships are held in Philadelphia on October 27th, there seems to be no slowing La Salle down as this week marks the fourth consecutive week the Explorer runners have been ranked in the top 10 in the Mid-Atlantic region.

The team took last weekend off and will look ahead to the Penn State Open on Friday, October 12th in State College, PA. The Nittany Lions will pose a legitimate challenge to the Explorers as they are ranked fourth (men) and fifth (women) in the same USTFCCCA poll.
