PHILADELPHIA - Head Coach
Jeff Williams has signed Karynda DuPree, a 6'4 forward from Milwaukee, Wis., to a National Letter of Intent to play basketball at La Salle starting in the 2012-13 season.
DuPree recently wrapped up her career at Wisconsin Lutheran, where she played for Coach Gil Tatge. DuPree averaged 10.2 points per game over her career, including 12.8 ppg as a senior while leading her squad to the second round of the WIAA Regionals. She also posted over nine rebounds and four blocks per game this past season.
DuPree set a career game-high record with 26 points on Dec. 29, 2010, and posted four 20+ point games in her career. She also scored in double figures in 14 of her 18 games this year and in 13 games as a junior.
She is the 94th ranked player in Wisconsin, according to MaxPreps.com.
DuPree joins signees Brittany Murray (Falls Church, Va./Riverdale Baptist) and Arielle Ward (Springfield, Mass./East Longmeadow) in the Class of 2016.
