GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA – The La Salle women’s tennis team prepared for its second of five straight road matches on Friday at Gwynedd-Mercy, but a sweep in doubles action gave the Griffins the win, 8-1.

Sophomore Tonya Rice picked up the only La Salle victory on the day at No. 2 singles when she defeated senior Erin Fallon, 4-1, retired.

The Explorers (2-2) will travel to Philadelphia University on Saturday, Sept. 26, for an 11 AM start time.
