 La Salle Drops Home Opener to Millersville, 6-1

Philadelphia, PA - The La Salle women's tennis team opened up the 2008 season as they hosted Millersville University on Sunday, September 7 at Belfield Courts. Tonya Rice won second singles for La Salle after defeating Jenny Habecker in three sets (6-4, 7-6, 7-4), but that would be the only victorious feeling the Explorers (0-1) would get as they went on to drop their first match of the season, 6-1.
