Philadelphia, PA - The La Salle women's tennis team picked up their first win of the spring season on Thursday when they defeated Wagner at home, 4-3.

La Salle recorded two consecutive wins, both at No. 3 and No. 4 singles, courtesy of freshmen Tonya Rice and Courtney Babo. They also went on to sweep doubles action with senior Lauren Perry and sophomore Christina Gomez winning at No. 1 and Rice and freshman Pearl Wilkins winning at No. 2.

The Explorers (1-8) remain home for their next match as they get set to host Rider on Monday, April 6 at 3:00 PM. This match-up will also feature "Senior Day" where Lauren Perry will be honored in the last home meeting of the season.
