PHILADELPHIA - The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) released its All-Regional teams, and La Salle University forward Traci DePasquale has been selected to the All Mid-Atlantic Region Third Team for the 2009 season.

DePasquale's numbers in 2009 alone include finishing as the Atlantic 10 Conference's leader in assists with 12, tied for second in points with 30, and she was third in goals with nine. She accounted for 30 of the Explorers 99 points during the season.

In a single season at the school, those numbers put her in a tie for the top spot all-time in assists with Tracey Spinelli (2000), sixth in points, and tied for 10th in goals.

She finished her career at La Salle first in games played (81), tied for first in games started (76), second in points (88) and assists (30), third in goals (29), and fifth in shots (163).

DePasquale has cemented her name as one of La Salle's best, male or female. In the 75 years of soccer at the school - 24 Women's, 61 Men's - she is the only Explorer to register at least 10 assists in two separate seasons. She is also one of three to ever tally at least 25 goals and add 25 assists, the other two, Hall of Athlete members Cesidio Colasante and Amy Schneider

This award is the fifth of the year for DePasquale, as she has already picked up two other athletic and two academic honors. She was named to the ECAC All-Star Second Team and the A-10's First Team, and then was selected to the A-10 All-Academic Team and the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine All-District 2 Second Team.

She becomes only the fifth Explorer to be recognized by the NSCAA, as Spinelli (2000 - Third Team), Schneider (2001 - Second), Jenna Guagenti (2006 - Third), and Kristin Hextall (2007 - Third) have also been honored by the Association.

Earlier this season, she became only the seventh La Salle player named A-10 First Team All-Conference in its 15 seasons in the league, joining Laura Winchester (1996), Dana Gavaghan (1999), Spinelli (2000), Schneider (2001), Guagenti (2006), and Hextall (2007).
