Philadelphia, PA - Five members of the La Salle University women's soccer team - Kristin Hextall, Jenna Guagenti, Kim Lisun, Lisa Genna, and Erin McNulty - have been selected to play for the Philadelphia Pirates, an expansion club in the Women's Premier Soccer League.

Hextall is a freshman forward/midfielder who scored seven goals in 2004, including three game-winners.  Both she and Guagenti, a defender, were named to the Atlantic 10's All Conference Second Team and All Rookie Team.

Lisun, a freshman midfielder, tallied six assists in her freshman campaign.  She is touted as a playmaker.  Genna and McNulty are both juniors who will lead the Explorers in 2005 under head coach Paul Royal.
