Dan Mannella enters his fourth year on the sidelines as an assistant coach for the La Salle Women's Soccer program.

Mannella has coached for several youth organizations including the Pittsgrove Soccer Club in New Jersey and the Tampa Knights Futbol Club in Tampa, Florida. He spent a year in Columbia, SC where he coached at the Heathwood Hall Episcopal School. He also coached at Villanova during the 1999 season, helping the Wildcats to a 14-8-0 season.

Currently, Mannella coaches the U-16 FC DELCO 90's and U-15 SSC Arsenal. He also directs Project TeamWork at La Salle, a youth outreach and community service project sponsored by La Salle University's Division of Intercollegiate Athletics. Project TeamWork utilizes La Salle student-athletes and coaches as mentors and role models to youth who need academic, social, and/or emotional support.

While at Wisconsin-Milwaukee, he was named to the 1998 All-Tournament Teams at the Miami (OH) Invitational and the Yale Tournament. In 1997, he received Midwestern Collegiate Conference All-Newcomer Team honors.

Mannella then played professional soccer with the USL's South Jersey Barons, playing alongside Royal throughout the 1999 and 2000 seasons. He was third in the USL's D3 league in assists in the 2000 season.

Mannella, who received his Bachelor of Arts degree in communications in 2003, also holds an Advanced National Diploma from the National Coaches Association of America and a USSSF 'B' License.

He resides in Wyndmoor, PA with girlfriend Andrea and dogs Buckley and Rudy and is working on his Masters in Communication.
