Philadelphia, PA - The La Salle lacrosse program recently announced another addition to its 2010 roster. Avery Roof, a Collingswood, NJ native, will join the Explorers as a freshman in 2009-10.

Roof, a two-sport athlete, took part in both lacrosse and soccer while at Collingswood High School.

In 2007, she was a Second Team All-Conference selection in lacrosse and then followed up that achievement with a First Team All-Conference selection a year later.

During her career at Collingswood, Roof totaled 11 goals and three assists.

Roof will join Lauren Chatham, Jackie Donato, Maura Malone, Lauren McDermott, Audrey Metzger-Bailey, Jackie Roebuck, Amanda Salata, Melanie Sarcinello, Cara Wood and Ryan Yankowich as freshmen in 2009-10.
