PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced Thursday that
La Salle lacrosse sophomore midfielder Kristen Davis (Folsom, PA/Ridley) was named to the All-Conference Team for her accomplishments on the lacrosse field this season. In that same announcement, senior Tracy Guenther (Willow Grove, PA/Upper Moreland) was named to the Academic All-Conference Team for her accomplishments both in the classroom and on the field.

Davis led the Explorers in overall scoring (57), goals (41), and was the only
La Salle player to register double-digit assists with 16. She was also second on the team in draw controls with 29. In an Atlantic 10 match-up with Massachusetts, Davis turned in a seven point performance, which included four goals and three assists. In games at St. Bonaventure, Saint Joseph's and Villanova Davis tallied six points each, including a season-high of five goals against St. Bonaventure.

Davis also ranked among the best in the Atlantic 10, finishing eighth in goals per game (2.56), 10th in points per game (3.56) and tied for ninth in assists (1.00).

Guenther finished her career at La Salle with a 3.64 grade point average as an elementary/special education major. She finished fifth on the team in scoring with 17 points, including 13 goals and four assists. This season she netted four goals in La Salle's 15-12 victory over Lafayette and grabbed four ground balls in the season opener at Colgate.

Finishing her career at La Salle, Guenther has left her mark on the record books, finishing fourth in points, goals and draw controls, fifth in ground balls and games played and tied for seventh in assists.

Academically, Guenther has been named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor and has previously been named to the Atlantic 10 Field Hockey Academic All-Conference team. She is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Pi Lambda Theta International Society. Guenther has also earned a spot on the Dean's List each semester at La Salle as well as being the recipient of the
La Salle University Faculty Athletics Council Academic Achievement Award recipient for both field hockey and lacrosse three times.
