PHILADELPHIA, PA - La Salle lacrosse players Emily Bonczek (Henrietta, NY/Rush-Henrietta) and freshman Jillian Davis (Ridley, PA/Folsom) were honored by the Atlantic 10 as players of the week.

Bonczek was named Co-Player of the Week after posting 11 goals in a 1-1 week for La Salle.  She notched five of La Salle's eight goals in a tough 9-8 loss at Longwood this past Sunday after taking just eight shots.  In La Salle's dominanat 22-13 victory over Lafayette, Bonczek tallied a season-high six goals.

Davis earns the Rookie of the Week honor for the second straight week after helping La Salle with eight goals in just two contests.  She notched a career-high six goals in the win over Lafayette, including the game-winning goal.  Daavis also tallied two goals in the loss at Longwood and was one of just three players to score in that game.  In addition to her scoring, Davis added four draw controls and two caused turnovers on the week.

Bonczek and Davis will be back in action this Sunday, April 1st when they host Villanova at Temple at 1:00 p.m.
