April Pegler joins the Explorer coaching staff for her first season as the volunteer assistant coach. Pegler, a two-time team captain and three-year starter, wrote the record books at Notre Dame College (OH) in the scoring columns playing under new head coach Candace Taglianetti for the past four seasons. Pegler has earned over 100 career goals in just three and a half playing seasons at Notre Dame College. She was on an offensive role until a season-ending ACL tear cut her junior season short. Pegler led the team in many offensive categories throughout her four-year career, becoming just the second player in program history to score over 100 career goals. She was a three-sport athlete at Haverford High School playing soccer and basketball and was an All-Conference selection in lacrosse. Pegler is on track to receiving a Bachelor's degree in Nursing at Neumann College in the spring. |
