Field Hockey's Camilli, Geiger and Bolger Pick Up Honors

Philadelphia, PA - La Salle field hockey seniors Sara Camilli (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) and Colleen Bolger (Berlin, NJ/Eastern Regional), along with sophomore Allison Geiger (Hummelstown, PA/Hershey) were named to the 2004 City Six All-Philadelphia Team.

 

Despite missing nine games due to an injury, Camilli finished the season as the Explorers' leading scorer with 17 points.  Camilli started and played in 10 games for La Salle and tallied six goals and five assists.  She attempted 28 shots for the season.

 

Geiger was right behind Camilli, leading the team in goals with seven.  A starter in all 19 games for La Salle, Geiger took 33 shots on goal and netted seven goals for the season.

 

In goal for the Explorers, Bolger started in all but one game for La Salle.  She controlled the net for 1267:03 minutes, and allowed 41 goals for a 2.27 goals against average.  Bolger also tallied 125 saves for a .753 save percentage.
