Philadelphia, PA - In an effort to increase recognition of the talent and the competitiveness of the field hockey players and programs in Philadelphia, the 16-member squad honors the best Division I players in the city.

The team is made of the top players from the six participating CITY SIX institutions (La Salle, Temple, Villanova, Saint Joseph's, Pennsylvania, and Drexel).

Coaches nominated their top five players and then opposing team coaches voted for the top-16 players from other city teams, ranking the top three players to determine the MVP selection. A total of 30 players were nominated. The top 16 players from the nominees comprise the All-Philadelphia Team.

La Salle University juniors Colleen Bolger (Berlin, NJ/Eastern Regional) and Sara Camilli (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) both received City Six Honors. This comes after several other post season honors for the two stand outs.

Bolger was named the Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year after anchoring a La Salle defense that posted three shutouts on the season and allowed one less goal than La Salle scored despite having 69 less shots and 56 less corners. The junior from Berlin, NJ, posted a 2.61 goals against average along with a .781 save percentage, which ranked fourth in the league.

Her 2.61 GAA is the lowest La Salle has seen in a decade, and makes her tenth in Goals Against Avergae all-time in a season. With 143 saves this season, Bolger ups her total to 477, making her third all time in career saves. The three shutouts recorded this season by the Explorers makes her fifth all-time in season shutouts, and fourth in career shutouts with four.

Bolger also set a new record for herself in minutes in goals with 1380. The 1380 makes her third all-time in minutes in goal in a single season at La Salle.

Camilli adds this honor to several other this season including being named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association MidAtlantic All-Region Second Team. She was also an Atlantic 10 All-Conference team selection as well as an A-10 All-Academic Team selection.

This comes after leading the 2003 La Salle squad in both goals with 11 and points with 27, she was second in assists with five. Camilli's 11 goals on the season ties her for sixth in goals in a single season at La Salle. Her 27 points on the year makes her second all-time at La Salle for points in a season and her 5 assists ties her for eighth in assists in a single season.
