For the Third Straight Week, Carey Named Top A-10 Rookie

For the third consecutive week, freshman Beth Carey (Lebanon, PA/Lebanon) has been named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week.

 

Carey becomes the first Explorer to win the award three times in one season since current assistant coach Colleen Bolger won for the weeks of September 10th, October 22nd and October 29th in 2001.

 

Carey picked up an assist in yesterday's 4-0 win over Robert Morris.

 

She is currently the top-scoring freshman in the A-10 with six points.

 

Carey and the Explorers take on Bucknell Friday night at 6 p.m.
