MOON TOWNSHIP, PA - The La Salle Explorer field hockey team picked up its second win of the season with a 1-0 decision over host Robert Morris at the RMU Island Sports Center on Friday afternoon.  With the win, the Explorers improve to 2-3 , while the Colonials drop to 1-3.

 La Salle’s Jillian Moser lifted a shot just over the outstretched arms of Colonial goalkeeper Kate Dunlap  to give the Explorers an early 1-0 lead just 1:45 into the game.

Moser’s goal proved to be enough as the Colonials were unable to reach the back of the Explorer net the rest of the game.   

La Salle outshot the Colonials 27-5 and held a 14-4 advantage in penalty corners.

The Explorers will look to even their record at 3-3 on Sunday when they travel to Lock Haven for a 12:00 p.m. contest.
