Philadelphia, PA- La Salle head field hockey coach Sarah Catlin has named three new members to her field staff for the 2008 season.

Michelle Marks joins the staff as assistant coach after three seasons as an assistant at Bucknell University.

“We are very fortunate to have someone with Michelle’s pedigree in the game joining us on the field this fall,” noted Catlin.  “She has been around great field hockey all of her life and those experiences will really help us advance the program.”

Marks was the head coach of the United States Field Hockey Futures Championships team from 2003-05 and was an assistant at Washington and Jefferson before heading to Bucknell.

As a student-athlete at Syracuse University she was a Big East Academic All-Star, she is currently working on her Masters degree in education and played her high school field hockey at the powerhouse Warwick (PA) High School.

Also joining the field staff will be Jennifer Willis who will serve as graduate assistant.  Willis is a 2008 graduate of Davidson College where she was team captain and gained coaching experience at the school’s Futures Camp.
