PHILADELPHIA - The Atlantic 10 Conference announced today the release of the 2008-09 Women's Basketball conference schedule. The Explorers, who already knew who they would face home and away, now get their first look at when.

After concluding the 15-game non-conference portion of the schedule - a Monday, January 5 contest at Penn - La Salle opens up the A-10 slate on the road at Saint Bonaventure, Saturday, January 10.

Over the next five weeks, the Explorers will play nine games, eight of which will take place in Philadelphia - six of them at Tom Gola Arena.

Three of the last four will be on the road, which includes a western Ohio swing to face Xavier (Feb. 18) and Dayton (Feb. 21) before their final home game with Duquesne, February 25. La Salle concludes the 2008-09 regular season Saturday, Feb. 28 at Massachusetts.

The 2009 Atlantic 10 Championships will be held at Halton Arena on the campus of Charlotte University, Friday, March 6 through Sunday, March 9. Below is the entire A-10 portion of the Explorers schedule.
