In August 2007, the La Salle University Women's Basketball team announced the appointment of John Donahue to the position of Director of Women's Basketball Operations. Donahue enters his second season on the Explorers' sidelines. Donahue comes to La Salle from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he graduated in 2006 with a degree in chemical engineering, and played for two seasons on the RPI Men's Basketball team. Prior to his appointment, Donahue also coached the Devon Prep JV basketball and baseball teams during the 2006-07 seasons. His primary role as Director of Women's Basketball Operations will be to oversee administrative duties, including marketing and promotions. He will also be involved in coordinating facility use, game-day operations, compliance, and community service. Donahue will also take over the program's film exchanging. Donahue is also currently pursuing his Master's in Business Administration at La Salle. |
