 Explorers Lose First Match of the Season to Fordham, 4-3

Philadelphia, PA - After winning their first four matches of the season, the La Salle men's tennis team received their first loss of the year after falling to the Rams of Fordham at home on Saturday, 4-3. "Our players had the momentum in the doubles matches, unfortunately we could not capitalize in singles competition," said head coach Ed Colfer. "It was a tough loss but we look forward to our next match on Thursday." The Explorers (4-1) return to action on Thursday, October 9 when they get ready to face Mount St. Mary's at home.
