PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle men's tennis team wrapped up its four-match home stretch on Friday against Philadelphia University, but a 2-1 finish in doubles competition gave the visiting Rams the victory, 4-3. The Explorers finished 2-2 during the current homestand.

Philadelphia University won three of the first four singles matches, but consecutive victories down the stretch from freshmen Trevor Donovan and Robert Knaster evened the match-up at 3-3.

Junior George Gennaoui and senior Jon Maula recorded the only doubles victory for La Salle at the No. 1 spot, 8-6.

The Explorers (3-2) will travel to Mount St. Mary's on Sunday, Sept. 27, for an 11 AM start.
