Explorers Defeat USP, 6-1

Philadelphia, PA – After returning from the City 6 Tournament at Temple over the weekend, the La Salle men’s tennis team picked up their fourth straight home victory on Tuesday as they defeated the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (USP), 6-1. Junior Jon Maula picked up his fifth singles victory of the season as he defeated Francisco Garcia in number three singles, 6-0, 6-2. Freshman Morgan Abrams-Nicholas followed up at number four singles with a victory over USP’s Billy Fine, 6-2, 6-1. The Explorers (4-0) go for their fifth straight home win of the fall season on Thursday, September 25 as they host Lafayette for a 3:30 p.m. start time.
