 Men's Tennis Defeats West Chester, 6-1

Philadelphia, PA - The La Salle men's tennis team opened up the 2008 season on a positive note as they defeated the West Chester Golden Rams on Saturday, 6-1. Freshman Fernando Tovia won fifth singles as he defeated West Chester's Alan Day (6-1, 6-3) and then followed up with a doubles victory as he teamed up with freshman Bill Nason to defeat Day and John Gordan of West Chester (8-2).
