Monroeville, PA - In the final match of the season, the La Salle men's tennis team hoped to pick up a win, but No. 10 Richmond had the upperhand and went on to defeat No. 11 La Salle on the second day of the Atlantic 10 Championship, 4-0.

With Saturday's loss, the Explorers will end in a tie with the loser of the Dayton/Fordham match for 11th place in the Atlantic 10 Championship. The Explorers complete the 2008-09 season with an 11-12 record.
