 Men's Soccer Announces 2009 Schedule

PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle men's soccer program has announced its fall 2009 schedule, which features eight home contests and a tilt at Big East foe Pitt. The Explorers open regular season play on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at Bucknell at 7:00 PM. Niagara comes to McCarthy Stadium for the Explorers' home opener at 1:00 PM on Sunday, Sept. 6. From there, the Explorers hit the road for four straight away games, including a swing to western Pennsylvania when they play at Robert Morris (9/11) and Pitt (9/13). The 2009 schedule also includes nine Atlantic 10 contests, including a home weekend featuring games against Temple on October 30 and Saint Joseph's on November 1. The Atlantic 10 tournament is slated for November 12-15 at the University of Rhode Island. Below is the complete 2009 Explorer schedule:
