 Round One of Monmouth Invite Complete for Explorers

Lakewood, NJ - The La Salle men's golf team opened play at the two-day Monmouth Invitational held at Eagle Ridge Country Club on Saturday afternoon. Senior Steve Sieracki led the way with an 80 to place 26th after the first round. The team brought a ninth-place finish among the 12 team field with 18 holes still to play. Sam Venuti posted a round of 82 with Mike Benzinger close behind at 83. Tyler Batory recorded an 86. No golfer shot better than even par (72) in the first round. Tee times for the second round begin at 8:30 AM Sunday at Eagle Ridge. Complete Team standings in PDF Format
