The Travel Blog is back by popular demand for the 2009-10 season!

I received enough inquiries while in Charleston from people asking for the Travel Blog that I figured it was worth cranking up again. After all, we like to keep our fans informed and engaged with their favorite team and we hope to use this space as an opportunity to communicate some different material than what you may normally see on GoExplorers.com - or anywhere else. 10:18 AM - We are getting set to board the shuttle and head to the airport. As Kevin mentioned in the last blog entry from Rider - one day to turn around a game (let alone a game with the #1 team in the nation) is pretty tough. While I do not have to scramble to finish notes and clear credentials and interviews as such like I did when I was in Kevin's shoes - my new position of Associate AD has kept me sufficiently busy trying to pull this trip together. As I have mentioned several times - we have a very large amount of alumni and friends travelling and making sure everyone is taken care of and aware of what is going on is quite a task.

We have burned through our allotment of tickets and an additional number that I arranged to purchase as well. I am feverishly trying to get a hold of the KU ticket office to buy still more for some others. I know it will all work out but it's been pretty hectic. MORE
