 Explorers to Compete in Charleston Classic

Philadelphia, PA- The La Salle University men's basketball team has been invited to participate in the second annual Charleston Classic held November 19-22 at the Carolina First Arena in Charleston, SC. The event, which is owned by ESPN Regional Television and hosted by the Southern Conference, features eight teams competing in 12 games over four days. Joining La Salle in the Charleston Classic will be Miami (Fla.), UNC Wilmington, Penn State, South Carolina, South Florida and Tulane and a team yet to be named. Further information including the eighth team, tournament parings and television coverage will be announced at a later date.
