DAYTONA BEACH, FL - Craig Muschko - who was drafted out of La Salle University after his junior season by the Chicago Cubs organization in 2007 - combined with three relievers to toss Daytona's first no-hitter since Kerry Wood combined on one 13 years ago.

Muschko tossed the first four innings of the seven-inning contest for the Daytona Cubs, a Class A Advanced club which plays in the Florida State League. He allowed just a single walk and struck out two batters and turned over the rest of the game to the bullpen.

With the no-hitter, the Cubs register their first since Wood and two relievers pitched one against Vero Beach on Aug. 24, 1996.
