St. Bonaventure (17-19, 8-8 A-10) pounded out 20 hits - the most allowed by the Explorers' staff this season - en route to a 13-4 victory in the first game. Billy Kern, Rich Prall, and Kevin Prendergast each had a pair of hits for La Salle, who had 11 hits total, but they were all for singles.
