2008 - Was named A-10 Rookie of the Week and Philadelphia Big 5 Pitcher of the Week one time each (5/5)...Started the season coming out of the pen, eight of his first nine appearances were in relief...Threw no more than 2.2 innings in his first seven times on the mound, including his first start against Binghamton (3/15)...Earned his first win of the season with 6.1 innings of relief at Penn (4/16), the most by an Explorer since April 22, 2003 (Anthony Boscaglia, 6.1 IP at Delaware State), allowing just one run with a season-high three Ks...Starting with that game through the end of the season, went 4-0 with a 4.93 ERA in 34.2 innings pitched...That includes winning his next three starts - 7.0 IP, three earned runs, three Ks versus Rhode Island (4/25); a nine-inning complete game 6-1 win at Saint Bonaventure (5/4), allowing eight hits and one earned run; and 7.2 IP and three Ks at George Washington (5/1)...His four wins were the second-most on the staff.
