2006 - Made 23 starts in the field (20 in right, three as DH) and made four starts on the mound...In three A-10 starts, threw 19.1 innings, struck out 21 batters, had a 1.86 ERA, and went 2-1...Picked up first win in a combined shutout at Dayton (3/24), tossing 6.0 innings, striking out six and allowing just two hits, earning him A-10 Rookie of the Week honors - only second Explorer to ever get the honor (Bryan Harvey, 2001)...Versus Saint Joseph's (4/1), registered season-highs with 7.0 IP and nine Ks in victory...In 4-1 loss at Rhode Island (4/9), went 6.1 innings with six Ks and one earned run...At the plate, had six multi-hit games...Went 2-for-4 at Arizona (2/25), with a double...Also, went 2-for-4 in second game at Campbell (3/6) with two runs scored and first RBI...Knocked in a pair of runs in 2-for-4 day versus Temple (3/21)...Was also 5-for-5 in stolen base attempts. High School - As a senior, earned postseason accolades in two sports, First Team All-Delco for baseball and Second Team All-Delco for basketball. |
