Cross Country/ Track & Field Holds Annual Banquet

PHILADELPHIA, PA- The La Salle Track & Field team recently held their annual banquet in mid-May and Coach Charles Torpey recognized his graduating seniors, as well as gave out awards to some of the years' best performers.

 

The cross country season men's Most Outstanding Performer was junior Korey Edwards (Morris Plains, NJ), and Most Improved Athlete was sophomore Andrew Wagoner (Pittsburgh, PA).  The women honored graduate student Rachel Papin (Philadelphia, PA) as Most Outstanding and junior Mary Clare Parrott (Sayville, NY) as Most Improved.


 

 

 

The indoor track season men's Most Outstanding Performer went to six-time All-American senior Sean Quigley (Braintree, MA), and Most Improved Athlete went to sophomore James Thomas (Westchester, PA).  For the women, Most Outstanding Performer again went to Papin, while junior Meaghan Hobson (Malvern, PA) garnered Most Improved accolades.
