NEW ORLEANS- Graduate students Rachel Papin ( Papin has earned this award every year she has ran for the Explorers. She is the only Atlantic 10 runner and one of only 91 female student-athletes nationwide to garner this recognition. Papin is currently enrolled in the graduate psychology program at

In her final cross country season, Papin placed 115th at the NCAA Championships in Baynes finds himself on the USTFCCCA's All-Academic Team for the first time in his career at This award honors student-athletes who have achieved success both academically and athletically. To be eligible a student-athlete must carry a minimum 3.25 cumulative grade point average and have completed a minimum 24 semester hours through the 2007 fall term. Additionally the student-athlete must finish in the top 15 runners or top 10 percent of finishers at their respective NCAA regional meet, or receive All-American honors. |
