Philadelphia, PA – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced on Monday that La Salle junior Shannon Duval was named Women’s Swimming & Diving Performer of the Week.

Duval helped lead the women to a 171-125 victory over Saint Bonaventure at home on Saturday with three first place finishes on the afternoon. The La Salle junior was awarded first place honors in the women’s 100-yard breaststroke (1:05.46), the women’s 200-yard breaststroke (2:18.13) and the women’s 200-yard IM (2:09.32).

Through four meets this season, Duval already has eight individual first place finishes and two first place relay finishes. One of the two relay finishes took place in the 202-91 home victory over George Washington on Nov. 1 when Duval swam a leg in the women’s 400-yard medley relay which set a new school record (3:56.73).
