Philadelphia, PA - The La Salle Swimming & Diving program recently announced that 10 men and three women will make up the 2009-10 incoming freshmen class.

The men include: Zach Anderson (New Windsor, NY), Brian Batson (Ellsworth, ME), Colson Ferrari (Doylestown, PA), Kyle Finlay (Blue Bell, PA), Dan Fitzgerald (Dresher, PA), Chris Foley (Willow Grove, PA), Kyle Goan (Westbrook, ME), Tom Lawrie (Whitby, Ontario, Canada), Tom O'Neill (Philadelphia, PA) and Blase Szyzsko (Bensalem, PA).

The women include: Meghan Forlini (Warminster, PA), Liz Jordan (Tobyhanna, PA) and Stephanie Wirtshafter (Philadelphia, PA).

"The future of La Salle Swimming and Diving, with this tremendous group that will be joining us in the fall, is very exciting," said La Salle head coach Matt Nunnally. "This very talented group of swimmers has some very notable credentials and we expect each of them to have outstanding careers at La Salle."

Zach Anderson
New Windsor, NY/Newburgh Free Academy
Two-time team captain... NYS Orange County Champion, NYS Section 9 Champion and NYS Finalist in 200-free.

Brian Batson
Ellsworth, ME/Ellsworth
Four-time Maine High School State Champion... Boys Class B Swimmer of the Year and Maine YMCA Outstanding Boy Swimmer of the Year.

Colson Ferrari
Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks East
2009 Suburban One League Swimmer of the Year... 2009 CB East MVP... Served as Central Bucks High School team captain senior year.

Kyle Finlay
Blue Bell, PA/La Salle College High School
PIAA All-State... All-American and All-Catholic selections.

Dan Fitzgerald
Dresher, PA/Upper Dublin
Three-time All-American... Two-time Junior National Qualifier... Three-time state swimmer... Served as Upper Dublin High School team captain senior year.

Chris Foley
Willow Grove, PA/La Salle College High School
Member of the Lower Moreland Aquatic Club... State Qualifier... Helped La Salle College High School to a third place finish at the PIAA meet.

Meghan Forlini
Warminster, PA/William Tennant
Served as William Tennant High School team captain junior and senior year.

Kyle Goan
Westbrook, ME/Westbrook
Six-time Maine High School State Champion... Two-time high school All-State selection.
